I had a lot of travel this month, so I burned through some audiobooks.
#11 The Other Man by Farhad J Dadyuburjor – Story of a gay Indian man struggling with the closet and new love
#12: Schindler’s List by Thomas Keneally – Story of Schindler, who secretly protected Jews in Poland in WWII
#13: The President’s Vampire by Christopher Farnsworth – Book 2 of the Nathaniel Cade series
#14: Blood Oath by Christopher Farnsworth – Book 1 of the Nathaniel Cade series
#15: Red, White, and Blood by Christopher Farnsworth – Book 3 of the Nathaniel Cade series. This is a thriller series in which the special agent is a 140 year old vampire who is blood bound to serve the President and the USA. It’s a really good series– a fresh take on a genre that can otherwise feel formulaic. I binged the series and loved them so much I wrote a fan letter to the author.
#16: Wally Roux, Quantum Mechanic by Nick Carr – YA novella that is part coming-of-age, part science fantasy.
#17: Trouble Makes a Comeback – Second in the “Trouble” YA series about Zoe Webster and Philip Digby– the new girl (narrator) and class troublemaker.
