I rather wonder, based on comments from Paul Beakley and James Stuart, if Chuubo’s isn’t pretty much the answer to “when you have three murderhobos in the party, and one guy just wants to play a bard who writes limericks.” Like, the murderhobos can go murderhobo all they want, but if they don’t have a goal to murderhoboing, and also engage with the bard (and vice versa), they’ll be stuck for XP and unable to make any progress towards advancement or gaining abilities or generally reaching their final forms.
