The Tour de Fleece ended a month ago. I have since gone on a Midwestern tour, in which I went to Threadbear and the Michigan Fiber Festival. As soon as my fiber arrives (I decided to ship it home), I’ll post pictures of it.
Meanwhile, I have something to do in the next couple of days. I sent in an entry form for the Santa Cruz County Fair last month, and am now committed to sending in five handspun entries for the fair. Fortunately, most of these are already done. However, at least one of them is not, and I really need to get cracking on it, since they need to be received by the county by Saturday, I believe.
Betsy, the nice woman who took me to Threadbear, has asked me to do some card weaving posts, so I’ll do that as soon as the county fair stuff is over. Card weaving is fun and challenging– I like any weaving system that doesn’t require a big loom.
