Replaying FFX and in the beginning, in Zanarkand, when you realize those cute little fanboy kids are all DEAD for the majority of the game.

At Savers yesterday, the clerk (a lady in her mid-60’s) was having a rough day after a customer in front of me left with his mid-meltdown 5 year old.

Clerk: Phone number?

Me (thinking this is a little invasive…): Well, I’m kinda taken, but…. I mean…

Clerk: giggling, then calls over her shoulder I need someone to take over my shift!

We had a good laugh, and then she finished giving me 25% off my purchase (the consequence of giving them my phone number).
