August 1: Blog Carnival of Full time RV Travel

Welcome to the August 1, 2008 edition of carnival of full-time rv travel. Today’s carnival resurrects the blog carnival after a year of dormancy.

I had to do some considerable weeding this time. If someone would like to tell me about the hordes of motorhome-dwellers in India, I’d appreciate it. Otherwise, destination pieces on India, Costa Rica, and islands aren’t really what this carnival is about.

Tupelo Kenyon presents Gratitude for Home and Family posted at Tupelo Kenyon, saying, “Here’s a reminder of the importance of the center of your universe – your home and family – even a rolling home, and the importance of gratitude. The author is full-time (at least half of the time). :-}”

Rich C presents Minimalist housing and my Airstream posted at Gadget’s Airstream Chronicles, saying, “Article on living in my Airstream full time.”

Jim presents Campground Review: KOA Flagstaff, AZ posted at live. work. dream., saying, “Just one of many campground reviews and full-time RVing tips in this couple’s comprehensive roadtrip adventure blog!”

Stephanie Bryant presents 5 Ways to Connect to the Internet from the Road posted at U.S. Travel, saying, “Life on the road means having multiple backup plans for getting online.”

AdmirableIndia.com presents Bangalore to Mysore on Bike: Day 1: Part 2: Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary, Brindavan gardens and Krishnarajasagara or KRS dam posted at AdmirableIndia.com.

Greg Laden presents Vicarious Travelers and the Poison in the Gift posted at Greg Laden’s Blog.

Shaula Evans presents What is this trip all about? posted at Your Mileage May Vary, saying, “We can’t afford an RV, so we’ve started a full-time open-ended trip in our Mini Cooper. We’d certainly love travel tips from seasoned RV travellers!”

Shaula presents Putting the gal into galivanting posted at Your Mileage May Vary, saying, “This great new site is a jackpot of travel tips for women, written by real women travelers. And they pay for submissions from women on the road, too!”

Neil presents Garmin Mobile for BlackBerry Review posted at Your Mileage May Vary, saying, “Our Garmin Mobile GPS Software for our BlackBerry is making navigation easier and a whole lot more fun on our road trip from Virginia to New Mexico.”

That concludes this edition. Submit your blog article to the next edition of
