Is it because my fans are so dear to me or because I put a recurring reminder to post in my To-Do list?
Last week we went to Wikiwa Springs where they have a large 72F spring divided into swimming and canoing areas. We swam and snorkeled. It was mostly chest deep except for the deeper cave/crack area where the water was coming from. There were a few different fish to check out. The nature preserve there appeared to focus on foreign/invasive species from aquarium fish to feral cats brought over on sailing vessels.
Then the cold hit! For a couple days now it has dropped to freezing at night. They say the 80F degree weather will be back in time for the weekend.
As of yesterday and for the next month, we live in Mims, FL near Cape Canaveral. We were hoping to see a shuttle launch, but it has been delayed with no ETA as of today. I don’t know why it takes them so long to replace a faulty sensor. It’s not rocket science… er, wait, I guess it is.
Anyway, Season’s In The Sun Motor Coach resort is looking pretty sweet so far. Pool, exercise facilities, nature, trails, yoga classes, etc. all for under $800/month electric/water/garbage/sewer/cable included.
There’s a guy with a built-up Jeep a few doors down. I’ll have to bump into him and see if there is any good wheeling around here.
Well that’s about it for now. If any of you stick-n-brick house dwellers want to take a vacation, meet us down here in Florida!
