John and I went to Phoenix on Thursday, where we bought this (lots of images, including the one below):
We drove it home Friday and arrived yesterday evening, at about 5:30. It is beautiful, needs minor fix-its, like latches and such, and we had a great time driving home. I don’t second-guess this decision at all! I don’t have much to say on the subject just yet, only that this is definitely turning into a great adventure!
Next week, I go to Marquette, Michigan again for work. Should be another great adventure!
Meanwhile, I’m in a couple of blog carnivals this week:
- Carnival of Newbies
- Carnival of Islam in the West: be sure to check out the comments to the post I made about burning a bridge; because I sent it into the Carnival of Islam in the West, it’s had a couple of good responses.
While I was out, someone apparently pissed in everyone’s cornflakes, because every online forum, club, or discussion group I’m in seems to have erupted into nastiness. All I can do is shake my head and wonder what the hell is wrong with humanity.
