And for anyone trying to be more productive this year :
MetroMan – Confessions of a Metrosexual Dad: Why the Hipster PDA is Rubbish!. I agree with about half of his 43 reasons not to use a notepad as your organizer, and add that a notepad is really ideal for the “capture” stage of organization, but is terribly inefficient when you have to sort and make decisions and sort information. Archiving is pretty easy, though, if you have a paper-based archive system. For those who are paperless, though, you end up needing to either scan or type in your notes, which can be inefficient at best.
