I dreamed last night that I was the overweight princess in a family of willowy young women. When Superman (yeah, I know) came to stay for a bit, he and I were all flirty, but I figured it was just cause he saw me as “safe,” since he had no attraction to me.
Then, I was drawn to this odd swimming pool where he liked to hang out and meditate (yes, underwater). I dove in and held my breath, noting how odd it was that he was visiting with a few people, one of them his father (the one from Krypton). I remembered someone saying that he can’t just come out of it when he’s meditation like this, so I kept quiet and waited.
Suddenly, he opened his eyes, and the people disappeared. It turned out they weren’t really *there*, and he was surprised that I had seen them. He drew me over to him and brought me into his meditation. It was lovely, and there was mucho sex involved (mmm…. sex with virginal Superman…. yum). I was surprised, largely because I wasn’t exactly the pretty girl in the castle, y’know.
Analysis: Emotional confusion and at-oddness with my own body image. Surprise that my husband still thinks I’m sexy.
