On ’s advice, I tried out Delicious Library yesterday. After doing about 5 or 6 things in demo mode, I already knew I was hooked.
Thus, yesterday, I inventoried all the books in my office. There are just over 400 books in my office, and I scanned or entered every single one of them.
Go me.
I also imported my DVD list, which made that part go pretty quickly. And I imported all my albums from iTunes using an iTunes>Library importer program.
Next is to add the books that are not in my office (in the hallway, in my crafts closet, next to my bed, in the kitchen, in the living room, in the den, in John’s office, in the gaming closet…. etc.), then scan all the video games.
And then to finish doing the inventory of the *rest* of our possessions (all the non-media stuff).
Ironically, going through all my stuff makes me want to get rid of a ton of it.
