The Midwest Adventure/Book Pimping Tour is getting more official every day.
ST. LOUIS:
August 12: Vloggercue in St. Louis.
August 13: Brunch in St. Louis? : can you recommend a place? I’m staying at the Best Western on Kirkwood. My guess is that it’ll be you and the fam, me, and possible (and maybe her offspring)
Can also schedule something between St. Louis and Chicago, if there are LJers wanting to meet and greet on the way.
CHICAGO:

KALAMAZOO, MI:
August 15: 6 PMish: Dinner. picks the spot. I know this might be too far for to drive, but I’ll be hopeful.
I haven’t decided if I’m going to stop in Grand Rapids on the 15th or get a hotel in Lansing. I’m leaning towards Lansing– the 15th is my dad and stepmom’s wedding anniversary (19 years?) and I don’t want to step on their toes by dropping in for a night then disappearing the next morning.
LANSING:

August 16: 11-1 and 6-8 PM free workshops at TechSmith (more details posted soon– please consider going!)
I will be leaving just after the workshops to go back to GR and stay with Dad, so no chance for dinner or meet and greet there– come to the workshop instead. There’s food!
GRAND RAPIDS:
Don’t have date-specific plans yet. The 17th-20th is time with my dad, but if anyone’s in the GR area and wants to get together for a beer, let me know!
For all parties/meals, expect to split the check, cause there’s no way I can buy dinner for everyone, much as I wish I could. And I will have copies of my book to sign and sell. And a videocamera, and if you let me, I will vlog our meet and greets, because this is part of the book tour, and it’s all exciting and stuff. You can be famous to 100 people!
