This morning I woke up because I had a dream that my breathing felt like there was something in my lungs.
Sadly, when I woke up the dream did not end.
If you’ve ever had mucus interfering with your ability to breathe, then you know what I mean when I say there was this little “catch” somewhere down in my airway, just behind my left “bust,” I think, but towards the back. Very annoying. Kind of scary. I really didn’t feel comfortable falling back asleep until I’d finally coughed it up, but it was very… disturbing.
Anyway, I just did about 10 minutes of cleaning/decluttering in my office this morning, so about half of the office has a floor again. I also decluttered the guest bathroom, removed all the fish stuff. And cleaned several of the fish jars. The last surviving girl from my columnaris tank passed away yesterday, so I also disinfected a bunch of supplies, just to be safe.
After the June meeting of the fish club, if I can manage not to buy any more, I will have about half as many fry as I do now, one plakat male, one copper male, one copper butterfly male, and one white-with-red double-tail male (if he survives that long– he has fin rot, which I’m treating with antibiotics), plus Carolan, who I loaned to a local breeder. I’m giving away a blue plakat male and Natasha, the copper male who used to be female, and a bunch of female fry that I don’t want to keep in my breeding program.
