Yaaay!

So, at about 9:45, with less than 3 paragraphs to go on the book, the power goes out.

No power=no internet. Thankfully,I write on a laptop, so at least I didn’t lose any data. I did, however, have to wait 45 minutes for the power to return so I could get the last couple of bits of research in and finish the book. John and I are my celebratory ice cream (early) while we waited for the power to return.

Yes, my “Mission Accomplished” moment is not completely complete. After all, I have some more content to create, graphics to generate, and a whooooole lot of editing and revision. Not to mention the promotions side, which i have only just started. But the bulk of the heavy lifting is done.

I’m going to bed now. Big future ahead. Good night.

Admit it.

You want to come over here and finish my book for me. Admit it. You do.

Ugh.

While I watched, Sam the Eagle ate two fry.

He spit out the spine of one of them. Ew.

Goal for the next 8 hours:

Finish this chapter and compile a list of screenshots needed.

Tomorrow:
Take screen shots.
Email my editor
Do work that actually pays “real” money.

Fishtank idea

This is an idea I had last night, which I think would be fun.

I personally love the natural-looking fishtanks. Fish look like they belong in them.

But.

I started imagining an industrial-look tank, with PVC pipe for hidey-holes, LEDs for lighting, maybe a blacklight to give it a goth/punk look, etc.

I’m thinking there could be some fun with casemod crossover equipment.

Anyway, I’ll keep you guys updated if I ever go this route.
