  1. That works really well – the embedded javascript makes it feel quite slick, like I was saying last.fm was like.

    I like that it just returns the normal video and doesn’t try to embed anything weird there – it means that it’s less likely to run into problems with odd browser/plug-in combinations.

    I also like that it’ll remember my settings across multiple blogs, since the cookie is bound to vblogcentral.com. As vlogging gets more popular things like that will help to make it easier for people to watch them.

    I’d say that it’s a pity that the use of javascript means it won’t work with LJ, but since LJ won’t allow embedding of video anyway it’s kind of moot.

    From the point of view of a vlogger, though, there’s the issue of it being on someone else’s server again. It’s nice to have someone else handle the bandwidth, but since I personally have my own server hardware, I’d rather use that for /everything/.
