John wants a tow rig to take his Jeep to events. It would have to be large enough to tow a Jeep, and cheap enough that we wouldn’t go broke from him having it.
I want to limit the impact it has on the planet, so I suggest it should be a diesel, so it can run on biodiesel, which is available locally.
Another option would be a hybrid SUV, though I’d wonder if such would have enough power for towing. According to what I’ve read, none of the hybrid SUVs are suitable for off-road driving or rated for towing, which leads me to wonder what the damn point is, and reaffirms my suspicion that “SUV” is just another way to say “minivan.”
Anyway, the point is almost moot, since we’d have to afford it, and the additional car insurance to go with it, something we probably shouldn’t pretend we can do just yet.
Natasha recovered– she was obviously just sleepy.
Also changed water in Cookie Monster’s tank. I need to clean the girl tank today– there is a lot of algae in it.
Stopped at the local fish store to browse. There were bettas in cups as well as a few in the community tanks. Sadly, one of these was upside down and gasping for breath through a fungal infection, poor thing. I alerted one of the guys who works there (a fellow gamer whose name I wish I could remember). Anyway, he removed it, but I chose to depart so he wouldn’t have to pretend he was going to medicate it (*ahem*).
