I skipped the SOTU tonight. As I have done every year since he took office. I tried, I really tried, but I have to get most of my Bush second-hand. I just can’t stand to listen to his voice. I can’t. It’s like…. listening to someone you deeply and personally distrust and despise. No thanks– I’ll get the transcripts, as doctored as they are, and commentary instead.

Some of my friends have mentioned playing the SOTU drinking game tonight. I have two things to say about that. 1.) Booze is not on the Weight Watchers CORE plan, and I don’t have points to cover it. And 2.) There isn’t enough beer in the world, and certainly not in my kitchen…..

One of the girls I got on Saturday is missing. I can’t find her in the tank (this was the pastel).

If she comes back, I’m going to name her Houdini.

If not… well, I suppose I won’t have to name her at all….
