What I did this weekend

Put up the Christmas lights all over the house. We have one more bit to do, then they’re done outside. Have one bit to do on the inside as well.
Practiced. There’s no way I’m going to play a passing O Tannenbaum on Tuesday. Oh, well.
Cleaned out the gutters. Hey, I was on the roof anyway!
Bolted the bookshelf to the wall and put the 10-gallon where it’s going to go. Also bought a cap for the pipes in the 10-gallon, but will need to return/exchange it, cause I got the wrong size.
Finished putting together the loom.
Made a total mess out of my room. Must be sure to fix that before Mom comes on Wednesday (hi, Mom!)
Added my holiday promo cards to my Fluxx deck.
Attended the AFRP fundraiser tonight. AFRP is where we adopted Alladin– their holiday fundraiser was cool– really good music/dancing, a silent auction, soft-pressure “sales” to adopt another (hee hee hee), and a raffle. We didn’t win anything in the raffle, but came away from the auction with a big organic fruit/snack basket and a kayaking trip for 2!
I brought Alladin’s scarpbook with me to the fundraiser and showed it to a few folks at our table– there were 2 volunteers at the table who were very impressed, and probably not just a little bit nostalgic!
Also bought/downloaded/iPodded a bunch of holiday music that you all recommended. Good picks, thanks!
