Last year, I asked for you all to suggest some holiday music for me.

I listen to music on my iPod when I’m shopping. I like holiday music. Last year, recommended “Elf’s Lament” by Barenaked Ladies, which turns out to be a hysterically funny song about elves attempting to unionize in Santa’s Workshop. Another favorite I got last year was Ringo Starr’s rendition of “The Little Drummer Boy,” which just has to be the best version made in the last 30 years. It rocks.

Anyway, I am asking now for some holiday music recommendations. Unlike last year, I’d like music that’s specific to the season, and iTunes-available would be handy, because unless you have an entire holiday CD that you want to recommend, I’ll probably be going for a 99cents/song deal, here.

December 15 will be a very special craft day at my house. My mommy is flying in from Missouri to visit and we’re going to do crafts together! The main goals are to do some spinning and to warp the loom for her sheep wall hanging, and have lunch in Santa Cruz with Johnny. I’m going to show her my scrapbooks and fish and generally hang out with her and play!

I am definitely looking forward to it. My mom’s a fun person to hang out with, and I love her to pieces.

I dreamed again about a friend’s relative dying. This time it was , and it was her brother, who had committed suicide (my best friend has a college buddy who I recently learned *did* commit suicide after a very severe psychotic break). Same emotional reaction in the dream, lots of crying, grief.

*sigh*
