What I did today

I went to a field sketching class at Quail Hollow Ranch. Lots of fun. I did a study of a eucalyptus tree, plus some little yellow flower I found up the Chapparel Loop trail. It was nice to force my eyes to observe, record, and then interpret.

Got a little bit sunburnt, though.

Came home, washed dishes with John and made lunch. Ate lunch, spun yarn. Bummed around, I should be more productive and yet– *sigh*

At least I drank enough water today.

What to knit?

You all saw the beautiful pictures of the beautiful newly-spun yarn.

What shall I knit with it? I want to knit, because that saves yarn. I have approx. 400 yards of it, 7 ounces. It’s sturdy.

I have only made one thing by knit in the past, but it came out pretty well, and I’m confident I could knit something else if it’s simple.

So, what to knit?

A knitted/felted hat? I prefer wide-brimmed hats….
A bag? (not purse–bag).
A scarf (I don’t wear scarves)?

What? Point to patterns, if possible.

PS: I don’t wear: scarves, leg warmers, wrist warmers, gloves (much). And I’m not into “cozies.”
