I actually had a great day yesterday.

But first, Katrina:I am not the only one angry.
Given how much physical energy my anger caused me to want to burn, I think I need a job where I am routinely furious, so I will be provoked into working out a lot.
Given how mellow I am almost all the time, I should become either a truck driver or other driving-related profession or a rape counsellor.
In other news, the cynical conspiracy theorist in me wonders if George W. Bush is only good in crises that he manufactures himself.
Yesterday, John’s dad and I went out wine tasting. We had a lovely day, very relaxed, did pretty much nothing else except wine tasting and chatting. We went down to the wharf and warmed up our palates with coffee on the wharf. Then we went to Bonny Doon, then Bargetto, Storr’s, Hallcrest, and finishing up at David Bruce. A very nice day, really.
Came home and had sloppy joes with a 2003 white chardonnay from Storr’s. I think, perhaps, it was not the ideal match of cuisine to wine. ![]()
Then last night, I showed him how to spin yarn, and had him hand-spin a little bit of wool into yarn. I wish I had shown him my first attempt at yarn, so he would understand that one does not always spin thin yarn immediately.
Anyway, I guess that’s a way of saying that I spun a little bit last night, which was very relaxing and Zen.
I am totally in the market for a lifestyle change. It’s beyond time. Getting the fucking dishwasher installed correctly would be a good start. We’re backsliding.
