Zoot on Friday If you closely compare this to yesterday’s picture, you can see that the split in his tail is actually a little bit more healed, and the split in his anal fin (the one on the bottom) is similarly more closed up. It’s now healed up to the edge of the brownish area (where his “aging” coloration ends and his turquoise begins).

I added Melafix last night with no partial water change.

This, particularly the part about fins, made me feel a lot “betta” about what happened to Zoot. Not that he needed to have this happen, but that he may be just as comfortable, if not more, after his recovery.
