Zoot’s recovery, continued

Zoot as of Wednesday morning Zoot’s color has definitely darkened, though it’s possible this is caused by the aging process rather than by his recovery (it’s been a while since I took a well-lit picture of him). In any case, here are three pictures of him from this morning, in good spirits and with a lot of regrowth showing. The red arrow shows how far up his fins were shredded as of Friday night. The blue arrow is where they are today. |
Edit to add: My adorable nephew got a betta fish for his birthday yesterday, aquamarine, just like mine. Guess what he named it? ZOOT!
I love that kid. Today’s his first day of first grade. Wow.
