Blind for a day
03-Aug-05
Next Monday’s vlog assignment is to be sightless for a day.
I may not succeed at this one, but I’m willing to try. Anyone have any advice, aside from not driving?

I spent much of last night editing the tribute video of Allegro, which is why there have been no vlog entries since Saturday.
This morning I took down the France videos, because they all use copyrighted music, and I’m trying to move away from that, and since the France videos are really meant for a personal DVD, I decided to remove them from the web.
I have about 3 Hold My Beer vlog entries that also use copyrighted music, for which I’m trying to find replacements. Nobody contacted me, but I know better and, well, my videoblog is more likely to become famous than almost anything else I do, and I don’t want to screw things up and have some pack of angry lawyerhunds at my back.
I’m also working on a “statement of commercial purpose” for my vlog. The statement of commercial purpose for my LiveJournal is simple: it’s non-commercial, I pimp products and causes as I see fit, and I don’t talk about work. The one for my vlog is a little more complex, and includes my licensing information for stuff included in my vlog, and my commerce-related intentions.
Alladin didn’t sleep in our bed on Monday night, because he hasn’t been allowed to sleep in there with us while Allegro was so sick (he would come in and pounce Allegro and then they’d have the cat wrestling all night long, keeping us awake and not really helping Allegro’s recuperation).
This made me so sad, I brought his bed in and put it at the foot of my bed. He slept there last night, hogged my covers, played mousie at about 3 AM, and snuggled under the covers at about 6 this morning. I swear, it was like having two husbands.
