You know it’s going to be a really “special” day at work when you step out of your car in the parking lot and wrinkle your nose and wish that the disposable diaper had never been invented, because, after all, that’s what’s filling up the landfill this city is built on…
After a day with no caffeine yesterday, I am hyper-stimulated this morning. Got up at 5:30 to do my Vlog entry, which also involved writing 250 more words in my novel (yay). Had about 10 ounces of coffee with breakfast and am now kind of jittery.
I can already tell that today is a weird Monday. I’m not going to get home until probably 9 PM tonight, because I have to meet someone after work. Fortunately, I’ll have 3 hours between the end of the day and meeting her, during which I’m planning to settle down at a cafe and get a nice power-write session going. I hope. Either that, or 3 hours of Internet distractions….
I wrote over 500 words today (my new daily goal) and crossed the ever-elusive 25,000 word mark in my non-Nano novel The Witch of Alimath Valley (formerly referred to as “the Witches novel”). Yay! Go me! Hoo ha!
