Allegro had a vet appointment on Saturday for a chest tap to draw fluid off and re-check.
We’d been getting fluid draws every 2-3 days ever since he came out of ICU. These had been drawing about 90-95 mL of fluid each time, which matched his ICU rate of ~45-50 mL accumulation each 24 hours.
The fluid had been getting thicker and more fibrous, indicating fat cells in the fluid, so he was on a new treatment for that.
Saturday’s draw was 3 days after his previous draw on Wednesday morning, so we would have expected quite a bit of fluid.
15 mL!!!! Go Allegro, GO!!!! 15 ml!!!
