Or at least, understand why they’re so awful.
This is why I’ve deleted all my meme posts that don’t actually tell you anything about me. I leave in the ones that are “50 books I want to read” or “a day in my life” because those tell you something about me and my life. But “what 1980’s punk rock phrase am I?” tells you nothing about me except that I have too much time on my hands, something that isn’t even true. And about 80% of the quiz-style memes have bad HTML that screws up Friends pages, so why would I inflict that on anyone?
Anyway, that’s the new rule for my journal: no quiz-memes that don’t actually tell you something about me.
