One Hundred Days of Writing (1/20/05-4/30/05)
Read 50 books this year
Send 100 pieces of personal mail this year.
Participate in at least 4 competitive runs this year, at least one each season. First one: Superbowl Sunday 3K run on 2/6/05. Small run, sure, but so? I haven’t run in 3 months– this will be like a leg-stretch!
Cook dinner at home once a week (gradually increase that to 2-3 times a week).
Writing Plan for the next 10 days
21-Jan-05
I’ve decided to do 100 days of writing for . Here’s my plan for the first 10% (really 11%, cause I started yesterday):
1/21: Write an OWWW critique.
1/22: Add 3000 words to USA?
1/23: Add 2000 words to USA?
1/24: Add 1500 words to USA?
1/25: Add 1500 words to USA?
1/26: Add 1500 words to USA?
1/27: Add 500 words to USA?
1/28: Add 1500 words to USA?
1/29: Add 2500 words to USA?
1/30: Add 2500 words to USA?
1/31: Write a book review (take a break), and plan the next 10 days.
Goals for February: Reread An Eye for an Eye and revise chapters 2 and 3, write the synopsis and proposal to send out. Finish USA?
Goal for March: Revise Eye for NaNoEdMo.
Goal for April: Finish USA? if I haven’t already. Work on Witches novel.
The 100 days challenge ends at the end of April for me, so I’ll probably take a week off in May and then start a new 100 day challenge, either writing or maybe doing something else.
Writin’
21-Jan-05
I wrote 1000 words yesterday in my ‘04 NaNoNovel, How Do You Spell USA?. Go me!
Re: the post yesterday and various speculations: it was not one person, incident, post, debate, or event that tipped the scale. It was months of it and, in regards to DR66 being on the list, it was the fact that on a typical day, 90% of the posts that aren’t fluff will be originated by DR66 and slant entirely to the conservative side, or 90% of the responses to liberal views will be DR66, spouting off more of his right-wing bullshit.
I REALLY wish he’d just post more about cooking. I liked his cooking posts, they were the only thing I liked about him.
