There are two hamsters at the shelter right now.
Because, really, nothing says “I’m not capable of caring for anyone but myself” like deciding you cannot take care of a caged pet the size of a cigarette pack and which doesn’t generally live more than 3 years.

I called my mom tonight to tell her I’m going to be on the radio tomorrow morning. Thought I should let you all know, too.
I’ll be reading from my 2004 NaNoWriMo novel on UnBedtime Stories on KFJC, and yes, there is a live feed if you want to listen in. We’re also archiving the readings somewhere, so I’ll post a linky later to it if you like.
The reading is at 7:20 AM, Pacific time. I’ve no idea what time that is elsewhere in the world, but it’s 10 hours and 20 minutes from right now (9 PM).
