My favorite line from the announcement: They’ve already shown that they’ll defer to me on issues of community, fearful of doing anything that’d upset people.
Which just means they’ve chosen the absolute worst person to defer to on issues of community and not upsetting people. Brad should continue to be Chief Architect, but my hopes are that this new acquisition will mean an improvement in customer relationships, even if that means (gasp!) moving away from a volunteer-driven Support system.
