I have officially quit LiveJournal Support and have dropped the communities. No drama or anything– I’m just immensely stressed out about other stuff and figured to quit before things get worse.

I will also be dropping the STC admin council, and several other projects I’ve been on for a while now. I’m going to finish NaNoWriMo, but my goal is to have just a small handful of activities that I’m involved in by the end of this year, and most of them will be things like “writing” and “reading” and “spending time with my husband.”

“Therapy” might make it onto the list, too. We’ll see.

Just as I’m writing about a presidential funeral, another head of state dies of old age.

However one feels about Arafat, his death puts Palestine into further instability and ends an era. Let us hope it ends it for the better.
