The Star Spangled Banner is the one song that can always make me cry.
I’m at open mic night, and this guy is singing it, with altered anti-war lyrics, and I might cry. If only because my eardrums are about to rupture.
It’s not that he’s bad. It’s that he’s singing at amphitheatre levels in a cafe about the size of my living room.
