Owch

I am out of ibuprofen. At home. At work. In my gym bag. In my overnight kit. In all my little stashes where I hide ibuprofen for when I might need it. No ibuprofen. Anywhere.

This means that, in less than a year, I’ve gone through a Big Bottle of ibuprofen. Granted, some of that was to cover aches and pains from training, and I’ve actually needed less for headaches since I started training. But still.

Also, I noticed this ibuprofen lack last night, when I took the last of the pills at home. I already knew the bottle at work was empty– I brought the empty home so I could refill it.

Um. And my foot hurts today. I sure would like a painkiller to take care of that.

Oh, and acetaminophen– okay in a pinch, but not as good as ibuprofen. I developed a resistance to tylenol when I was 14.

Weekend

SCUBA was fun. Being on a boat…. wasn’t. I think I threw up food I ate last year. Ewww. Dry heaves=teh suck. We stayed on the boat for the second dive, because I was so sick and cold by then, and didn’t want to have trouble (even though we were both fine once we got into the water). Lots of fish, though!

Running yesterday was fine until my right foot started hurting– alot. It still hurts– I stopped at 8.5 miles, which is a bummer, but at least I don’t think I injured my foot seriously in doing so.

Crocheted a lot this weekend. Christmas gifts for everybody!
