That’s what we call it when work is postponed or cancelled on account of Hwy 17.
Yep.Hwy 17 is closed down right now. Apparently, some asshat got into a wreck and brought down the electrical wires. Niiiice.
So, after racing around all last night and this morning to get everything ready for this weekend (I’m going to ConQuest, I now get to sit around and hang out until an hour after the road clears. And even then, I might just go straight up to the con, if it’s late enough that going in to work would be pointless (more pointless than any other day, that is).
So, that’s the news, the update. Status report. Looks like everyone’s Labor Day plans are kind of screwed up this weekend (looks at Florida, notes that Disneyworld is probably not going to have many Labor Day weekend visitors….)
