OK, I know I have a lot of very wonderful, creative people with cottage industries on my friends list. They make soap, clothes, candles, knitwear, crochet, artwork, woodworking, miniatures, etc., and sell them to others (which means they make things that are of fine enough quality to sell).

Post a comment here if you have a cottage industry and will be taking orders for Christmas (also: when are you taking orders, and where is your catalog?) I know it’s only August, but for some of these things, you have to get started early.

The cat is doing much better. He is eating, playing, purring, sleeping on the pillows; generally behaving like himself. I’m glad. He’s still on antibiotics for another 8 days, but at least he’s doing a lot better now.
