I do, however, want to know what happened/has been happening, because I’m a curious little gossip who always wants to know about the silly drama without actually getting involved. In a way, you could say that LiveJournal drama is a spectator sport.

John and I saw Bend it Like Beckham last night finally. He’d been resisting seeing it, since it lacks explosions and tits (well… not really, but they’re mostly under sports bras), but he was compliant enough last night to see it. I thought it was really good– I very much enjoyed the whole thing, though I was disappointed that the blonde English girl (Juliette) wasn’t actually a lesbian, considering she was triggering *my* gaydar from the very outset, and the lessie hoyay in the whole movie was pretty thoroughly explored as far as you could go without tongue-kissing.

Please keep Kithra at home. She does not need to go wandering into swimming pools in my dreams. Also, I know you are British, as is your snake. That does not mean that the dreams Kithra appears in need to have everyone speaking with a British accent. Thank you.

This post brought to you by the wacky dream I had where two snakes– one Kithra, the other the size of an anaconda, were swimming around in a pool I was at in, apparently, England, and I had to save the snakes. Sure. You try saving a snake whose head is the size of a football.
