Home again, home again
06-Jul-04
Jigetty-jig.
Anyway, John and his dad returned home last night at about 8:00. I was making dinner. We had steamed summer squash, onions (baked in the oven), beef in a whiskey sauce that never reached boiling and therefore was still intoxicating, and potatoes with rosemary, garlic, and basil on them. Yum! Nearly everything was forkable, too.
Tonight is Willy’s last night here. I don’t know what we’re going to do for dinner or visiting. Maybe we’ll fill in the photo album with his pictures– that would be keen. Tomorrow morning I’m taking him to the airport.
I’ll miss him.
Work today is…. work. ‘Nuff said. I did solve a problem that was tricking me up last week– wish I’d solved it on Thursday.
When I got in today, Zoot’s plant had come loose and is floating at the top ofthe tank. I’m debating leaving it there– he seems to like hanging out on it.
At home, I’m using AudioIn to transfer stuff from my cassette tapes onto my Mac in QuickTime format. My goal is to put the few cassettes I have left onto the music server and have them on my iPod.
Framemaker is going to keep kicking my ass until I whip it into the submissive little bitch that it knows it is. I should go do that. It’ll be a fun exercise for the day. *sigh*
