I’ve written almost 8000 words in my novel about the witches this week. That’s more than double what I started with. No idea where the whole thing is going, but once I dropped the setting, things started moving along. Especially since I also jumped back about 12 years in time to write the “becoming a witch” sequence for my protagonist Ellia. Moira’s story is more poignant, but I think it has to come later.
We saw Fahrenheit 9/11 tonight. Whew. Draining. And very hard to watch, considering how nauseous the President makes me feel. I really cannot stand him. If I could hate someone as distant as he is, I would. Now, since I don’t particularly want the gestapo to knock on my door, that’s all I will say on that regard.
