As of today, all the software I require for my job has been installed on my PC here at work, and in the correct sequence (there are some things that conflict if you install them in the wrong order– the undocumented wrong order, I might add).
I’m particularly amused because, gee, didn’t I see him install some of that without using an admin password? Hmm…..
Busy schedule

So, this is what my schedule is like this week:
Wednesday: Pick up dog food and write at lunchtime. After work, workout (though not at coach clinic; I’m going to have to skip those most of the time because getting to UCSC by 6 means leaving here at 4:30 and I just can’t do that all the time). After dinner tonight, write.
Thursday: 10 AM: Help unload the Costco truck at work, start the mushrooms marinading (I’m on the event committee for the 4th of July party this Friday). Workout in the gym at 11:30. Lunchtime writing. Weigh-in at WW at 5:30. 6:00, be at STC meeting in Sunnyvale. Maybe get some writing done at the meeting, depending on interest level (bring a notebook?) STC meeting ends around 9 PM; go home.
Friday: Normally, Friday would be a yoga day, but we have tickets to see Farenheit 9/11, so I’ll need to hightail it down to Santa Cruz, stopping in Scotts Valley to walk the dog before we go. The party is at noon: I need to be there a bit early to put the playlist on. No idea when I’ll have time to write.
Saturday: John and I have plans to SCUBA dive, but I might ask if he wants to cancel this week and do something else; my back is still sore and I still haven’t had a damn massage. If we dive, I can write in the evening.
Sunday: Run at Nisene Marks with the team, 8 AM. Collapse? Oh, right– WRITE!
Why so much writing in my schedule this week? This is BIAW week– Book In A Week. No, I’m not writing a whole book. It’s just a commitment to write a set amount of words or pages every day for a week. For me, because I have so much damn else to do, the commit is 3 pages/day. I’m working on the witches novel, for which I still need a good title.
