I hate spam.

Yesterday was good/fun with Molly. After lunch, we went to KMart and the mall for clothes (and so I could return the pants). Stopped at Hallmark to wave hello to . Went to Beverly’s and got fabric and a pattern to make a 2-piece bathing suit. The fabric is a circuit board print with a y2K joke running through it, but it’s geeky and cute and no one will have a bathing suit with that particular print. Plus, on sale! I finished the bottoms last night (and worry that they might be a wee small, even though they appear to fit, just not uber-flattering).

Supposed to be on a long run this AM, but stayed home to hang out with the dog and wake up a bit more. I’m really tired this morning. Think I’ll go back to sleep for a couple of hours, and *then* go on the long run.

Potluck housewarming this afternoon. I’d like to finish the swimsuit beforehand (not for any particular reason, just so it’ll be done). Oh, and my sewing machine needs to be serviced. The top tensioner is too tight– I think it just needs oil, but it might want adjusting, too. The machine is about 10 years old and has never been serviced.

Talking about the swimsuit is a good way to be reminded that I want a mannequin for modeling items that I don’t want to model on myself for posting to the Internet.

Oh, and I should probably mention that I’m still pissed about the things from Friday night (mostly having to do with John not having done his chores or the things he said he would do, like buy contact lens solution, which meant I had to go out at midnight alone to get some).
