Home

I’m home now. The weekend was good, tornadoes and all. The flight home sucked– John and I were separated for flight #2, and I ended up in the last row of the plane, where you can’t recline, then the dork in front of me reclined, shutting my laptop and not even being considerate enough to warn me before he did. He stayed reclined for the entire flight, so I was pretty f-ing miserable. I had about 18 inches of space, total. We checked in 3 hours before this flight left– I want to know how we ended up with such sucky seats. Also, I got a massive headache while at the campground, thanks to exhaust and smoke, which turned into a full-blown can’t-think-can’t-function migraine-like monster by the time I boarded in Denver. So I was pretty miserable before I even sat down in my seat in the crappiest row on the plane.

I finished Fast Food Nation and am now more than ever convinced I should avoid red meat.

Today: donating blood this afternoon. Writing at lunch.
