We’ve all got those icons that we hardly ever use. Time to show ‘em off! Reply to this post with one of your lesser-used icons, and tell me what meaning it has to you, or where you got it from. Then post this meme in your journal, and ask your friends to do the same.
[Incidentally, I will endeavor to use a different userpic each time I comment to friends who post this meme.]
This one (which I switched to default this morning) is my Mask userpic. I used it a lot in October and November, but now only rarely. It doesn’t have much meaning, except if I’m being cryptic, I’ll use it to convey the mysteriousness. John took this picture on Halloween last year; it is my Halloween costume that I wore to work.
In case you couldn’t tell, last night’s post was dictated using speech recognition. I think it came out OK.
I dropped Hammer off at the vet this morning for his ultrasound. Poor baby was trembling before he even left the car! And he didn’t get dinner last night or breakfast this morning. I hope they feed him today after the U/S, if they don’t end up needing to anesthetize him.
Those of you who read already know: I’ve been working out all week, trying to get myself into a habit of every day workouts, except Mondays, which are my rest day. Which reminds me: I forgot to take my vitamins last night, too. And this morning. Bad Stephie.
Our CSA veggies were messed up yesterday. We joined a CSA (Community-Supported Agriculture) last week. When I signed up, I put next Thursday as our start date, but they emailed me and asked if I wanted to start this week. I said yeah, sure– that would be great. This was confirmed. John went to pick up the veggies last night (we have been looking forward to these for 3 days), but our name was not on the list, and there were no veggies for us.
We start next week, I guess. You know how it is– it might be Two Small Farms, but the computer can still screw it up.
This is kind of cool: around the world on a motorcycle to raise awareness of children’s rights.
no, not leaving my own journal. I’ve been on the deletion kick approving support answers for users trying to delete their own journals.
I donated blood today. That went very smoothly, though I seem to have been bleeding very slowly. Especially towards the end. I guess I got enough blood, but they had put some special tag on the bag.. Anyway, I also had blood drawn for bone marrow typing, so that should go into the bone marrow database fairly soon.
John says it’s dinnertime, so I’ll talk to all later.
