If you haven’t already seen it, I highly recommend visiting Elena’s photoessay of Chernobyl. Elena is a motorcyclist who regularly rides through the abandoned area, because she can confidently rev the engine pretty high without running into any cars or people.
It’s pretty bleak, but quite awesome.
