Lost in LA Mancha is a documentary, a “making-of” movie for The Man who Killed Don Quixote, a film by Terry Gilliam that was never finished (Acts of God basically swept in to destroy the set and one of the actors). Johnny Depp was cast in the movie, so there are some great scenes of him in rehearsal and a marvelous scene with him screaming at a fish.

We saw the documentary last night. It was quite amusing.

Dear Neighbor,

Your car does not have a working exhaust system.

Every time you start your ignition, it backfires and sounds like a rifle shooting off next to my house. You have started this car four times now, since I got home; you have not fixed whatever exhaust problem is causing the backfiring, and I doubt you are going to do so during the next 20 minutes of daylight that are left.

Please to be stopping this immediately, or I will show you what happens when a PTSD survivor gets so panicked she thinks she’s in danger.
