The virtues of pasta

This is a food micro-review from my lunch today:

Pasta Pomodoro has a dish called Ravioli di Zucca, which is roasted butternut squash ravioli in a butter sauce with sage leaves. It’s amazingly good, and an appetizer-sized portion is about 8 raviolis, so you don’t have to worry about leftovers or overeating. Now, I’m not sure how many Weight Watchers Points it is, but it’s pretty high fiber (squash), and very tasty in a non-conventional (i.e., not loaded with butter and cheese) kind of way. I suspect you could request it without the butter sauce and just sprinkle a teaspoon of parmesan on it without any loss in flavor experience. With a mista salad and water, the bill came to $7.04, which is average for lunch in Milpitas.

Userpics

I renewed my extra userpics today, because I like having lots of userpics, it turns out.

I also gave extras to and , cause they’re nice peoples. :D
And my head is still all congested. Ew. My throat doesn’t hurt during the day, but last night it was hurting again. Meh.

I am sorely tempted to stop reading Black Horses for the King, which I recently posted about to here. The question I asked in that post is a good one to ask folks on my friends list, though: At what point do you consciously set aside a book and say “I’m not going to finish reading this book”?
