Stephanie Does Stuff

How’s that for a subject line?

Anyway, today I went for a run, had breakfast with John, came back and created a playlist for when I’m in the car driving, cleaned 1/2 of my office, and am now updating my iPod with the new playlist. Monkeying with playlists required me to turn on the linux box, which has all the mp3s on it.

Plans for today are to get some of the things on my desk taken care of, including calling my elections clerks to make sure they know to show up at 6 in the morning on election day. Also, I want to read some of the suggested resources in my latest post; a lot of people had useful comments and resources for me to follow up on. I need to pull another needle out of my x-stitch box and get back to work on the project I’ve been working on for a couple of weeks. And I’d like to get more reading done.

But first, I must go out to the mall and get John his Valentine’s Day present. :)

Mph. Migraines

I have a headache starting, I think. It’s probably just a stress headache from my neck being all tense and stuff.

But it reminded me to go look for “SCUBA diving with migraines.”

With all the possible risks from SCUBA diving + [insert health condition], it’s a wonder that anyone gets into the water at all…..

Edit: Oh, and I got my car washed today. It is now nice and clean. It also shows off the scratches and dings that some ASSHOLE or another has put into my car. There’s a scrape on the front left bumper and a scrape on the rear left bumper. I haven’t hit anything driving it. I am not amused; the one in front is pretty serious and took off a good 2 inches of paint (by about a 1/2 inch wide– wider than a simple scratch). I’m going to stop by the Honda dealer and see if I can get a little bottle of touch-up paint for it, though that one scrape might be too big for touch-up paint. Grrr. That would be, what, another $150 to fix? Grrr….. I should probably shrug and be grateful that the car is taking the damage instead of me. But, see, I love my car. I want it to be beautiful, always.
