Just a reminder. A while ago I wrote a little HTML tutorial on how to create a heart symbol.
Well, a few months ago, it became an official LiveJournal resource in the journal.
So, if you’re wanting to share the love around this February 14th (which is National Blowjob Day, I hear), you might check out those two resources and have some fun. Share the love. Post e-valentines to all your LJ friends. Whatever.
BTW: People have been asking recently in Support about making a music note special character in HTML. Please realize that the music note special character is not supported by any standards at all– basically, it’s Microsoft’s invention and it doesn’t work in most web browsers.

If you are near Georgia and are doing some decluttering, consider sending some of your household goods. If you’re financially able to help at all, consider sending a donation to her family to help them get back on their feet. If you can’t help but your heart is too big for your chest, send them a nice note or e-card to wish them beter luck.
I don’t know if it’s possible for a single person to save the world. But I know that expressions of love and aid can save a single person, and we have a good representation of that impulse here on LiveJournal.
There but for the grace of God go we….
It’s been exactly two months since I submitted a short story to a literary magazine that claims to respond in about 2 months.
I hope the long wait means good news. If Zyzzyva’s lightning-fast rejection is any indicator…..
You know what, though? I’ve never been insulted in a rejection letter, and I appreciate that.
