EBay

My game auctions finished on EBay last night. won two of my auctions, at a shipping savings to her (since she can pick it up sometime on her lunch break). Nice buyer that she is, she already paid. One other person won the other three–which means shipping savings for him, as well as only one box for me to pack! Yay!

Today, I’m going to box up the things that need to ship, so they can all go out on Monday. I’m only a little concerned that the Clie MP3 adapter is at $20, and it’s auction closes on Monday, but, ah well. I hope it goes well.

I’ve decided to do the Shakespeare cross-stitch piece for Inga– I think she will love it. Of course, it might take 10 years to finish, but…. hopefully not.

Last night, I got almost done with the gold on the dragon. I ran out of the gold I was using and have switched. The new gold thread is much easier on my fingers– it’s thinner, and has less actual metal in it, I think.

I want to do a dragonfly with variegated wings and iridescent accents. :)

Ka-ching!

I sold 2 items on half.com today.

Here’s the iPodFund totals so far:

$150 - gift card from Circuit City
75 - gift card from Mom
25 - gift card from Faith
  25 - gift from Renee
65 - eBay sales of PC games
20 - current price of Clie MP3 adapter (another one sold for $66 today, though, and this acution has 3 days left)
   5 - December half.com sales
28 - January half.com sales (so far, but $10 goes to John)
-----
383 - TOTAL

And if I buy it through Yahoo! Shopping before Febraury 15, I get 1 Yahoo! point per $1 spent. Which would earn me a $10 gift certificate somewhere (when combined with my other points– ever notice how few ways there are to earn these points on Yahoo!?)

Cost of the iPod: $499, plus tax, not including the $40 FM adapter I want to get (so I can play it in the car or around the house/at game– I can’t find an input jack for an MP3 player on my car audio system).
