First off, I want to wish everyone a Happy Holidays.

Second, I want to remind everyone that Christmas Eve is a great time to give your dog a bath….
Hammer got his bath just now. He’s still wet, but he smells better for the holiday. Of course, the bathroom smells much worse– what is it about bathing a dog that instantly increases the temperature and humidity of a bathroom and turns it instantly into eau de doggie?

Ah, well. At least he’s clean. And majestic. And he’s going to get brushed out soon so he’ll be all soft and clean.

I also washed one of his beds today, so he’ll have something clean to lie on.

John comes home in another half hour to 45 minutes. Yay! I did most of the dishes– actually, I got most of the things on my list done today. Go me!

Neil Gaiman, one of the greatest writers and graphic novelists, said “moo” today.
