Guh.

Back still hurts. Working out at 11:30 this morning anyway.

Went to sleep early last night and had nasty dreams about coming home to find someone had broken into my house, robbed me, and was still there (I didn’t get hurt, though– I was smart and ran down to my neighbor’s house– who I think was , actually– and called the police from there).

Wrote 2200 words yesterday, which is good. I’m up to 42K. I’ll probably finish 50K this weekend, possibly on Saturday, which would be cool (run a 5K, post 50K). I currently have 20 scenes that need to be written, though– I’m working on them.

Note to self: Check out two short stories from Oct. 2002 Analog - “In Her Image” and “Partner in Crime” for legal sci fi. Also: Illegal Alien by Robert Sawyer. [Anyone having other science fiction legal drama suggestions, post in comments, please!]
