The person who owned my cell phone number has not informed everyone that it has moved on.
So, instead of spam text messages, I get people calling me asking to speak to someone whose name I cannot pronounce (I thought it was Carlos, but I was wrong).
Can someone help me with a Spanish translation of this message: “I’m sorry– this phone number is now used by someone other than the party you’re calling. Please contact that person some other way.”
Thanks.
I swear, cell phones– more trouble than they’re worth!
I took the Meiers Briggs Personality profile about a year and a half ago, as well as the Strong Interests Inventory, and got the results back today.
It should come as no surprise to anyone familiar with these tests that I am an ENFP– Extroverted Intuitive Feeling Perceiver. This means I really like working with people and suck at follow-through. Apparently, even though I am an “N”, I am very close to the middle there, and can go either way.
Being an extrovert means that I really work best when surrounded with other people. This is mostly true– I work best with others, when I am not being told what to do.
The Feeling part is my creative side.
And being a perceiver means I am more spontaneous and am energized by last-minute pressures (anyone watching me write a school paper knows this is true).
So, who do I match strongest with in my strong interest inventory? Technical Writers.
Big. Shock. There.
Anyway, if anyone can figure out how I can create a science fiction writing job that involves being around lots of people and doesn’t require me to follow-through on anything, I’d be totally appreciative.
Oh, and if it can pay me lots of money, I’d like that, too.
I think this follow-through thing is also why I haven’t edited last year’s novel yet….
I didn’t take the crush meme. So (a) I don’t have a crush on you (hahahahahahah) and (b) I’m glad, because no one has a crush on me!!!!
And I think it’s wonderful that the crush meme guy is selling the data– that’s terrific. I hope he makes lots of money off of it.
IT’S JUST A MEME!!!
This is just a note for my own submission tracking purposes:
I am submitting “Space” and “I’ve Stopped Crying” to Cedar Hill Review. They go in the mail tomorrow.
